HIGH-IMPORTANCE FOR ALL– Those who love God and are seeking to fulfill their life purpose… find the original design and live by it! Jesus said that the second command was to love my neighbor in: Matthew 22:34-40-
The Greatest Commandment-
“34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Let’s take a look at what is the definition of Commandment:
Commandment-
-A divine rule, especially one of the Ten Commandments.
-A rule to be observed as strictly as one of the Ten Commandments.
****** So, we must observe and seek to understand His commands so we can really execute His heart desires!
But He also said in Mattew 5:44-45 that we must love our Enemies.
“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.”
IMPORTANT NOTE: What Luke 6:32 say:
“If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them!”
PLEASE NOTE: As true Disciples of Christ, we are called to be the light everywhere we go; we are to represent God the best way possible just like Jesus did! We are to be different, we are called to be merciful to others and forgive EVERYONE’s offenses against us, for God forgives our daily offenses.
Furthermore, we should be compassionate, kind and loving, but at the same time Jesus also advised us to be shrewd as snakes… Yes… I have discovered that I must listen to Jesus advice, otherwise the enemy of our faith, the adversary who opposes to everything that has to do about God and His will for Humanity, will try to make us remain paralyzed in the things of God, and it is God’s desire for us to continuously advance gradually in His Kingdom. Therefore, we must strive to pursue Him and become more like Jesus every single day. Everyday MUST COUNT.
Matthew 10:16-
“Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves.”
Note: We must seek to develop a well-balanced life…. Learning to conduct ourselves prudently, wisely… Making sure we are walking diligently… and that we are seeking and becoming all, we are called to be!
